This fully adhered barrel roof in Oklahoma City was our most recent project. It had some difficulties (height being one), but we were able to complete a roof retrofit with TPO in an efficient and timely manner. In the process, we removed years of dirt and some growing grass from the roof as well.
At first glance, Jett Solutions didn’t look like it needed a new roof. In fact, Rugged Roofing inspected the roof in 2014 and found no damage.
However, after hail storms in 2015, there was noticeable dents on the roof.
Eventually dents like this can lead to a rusting and leaky roof.
Because of our previous inspection, we were able to help the insurance company see that this was recent damage and they paid for a new roof for the customer. The customer chose a TPO retrofit for their metal building ensuring a water tight building for years to come.
This is a project we completed this week in Hennessey, OK. The first part of the project was to remove this dangerous false front to the building.
It had received damage in a previous storm that had never been repaired. It has been leaking every since.
It doesn’t look too bad, on the face, but when we took a closer look, we realized the entire front was waterlogged and was separating from the building.
Every time we help a building owner it is a privilege. We take a roof that has been damaged in a storm and help the owner get a new roof.
Some are so damaged that you are really making a difference for someone’s property.
This was one of those roofs. It was badly damaged and we were able to get a new roof, extending the life of the building.
